TT-FUSION - 2015 - PS4 / XONE / SWITCH / 3DS / PS VITA / IOS

This Spielberg series came crashing out of nowhere for Fusion but was, nevertheless, a joy to get our teeth into. Evolving over 12 months, this prehistoric hiatus covered the Jurassics from Park to World. I was lead 2D/UI artist on both console and handheld versions of this game.

The following clip shows examples of the work created by the UI department for LEGO Jurassic World. It contains both interface and 2D texture work. The UI style was deliberately kept simplistic because we didn't want it overpowering the game world characters. The dinosaurs were the stars of the show, and so the UI needed to "keep it's distance" ... and nobody outshines Jeff Goldblum!

The following clip is a short demonstration of the dinosaur customiser at work. I created the diegetic UI, as seen on the in game screen, using Microsoft Blend.
